Hi Marian,
What car kit have you got? I've got the Mki9000 in mine, and as soon as I paired the phone to thi kit it transferred over automatically (albeit with the names backwards so i have to say surname, firstname!0 It might be worth deleting the pairing from your phone, and then clearing the memory on your car kit too. let me know which kit it is and i'll tell you how to do it. Hi Marian,
It could be good news or bad news depending on the minikit you've got.. If its the original Minikit (Click here for details) then unfortunately that kit won't work with the iphone for sending contacts. With this kit you have to send contacts manually from your phone to the MiniKit, but as the iPhone doesn't have the bluetooth option to send data, you won't be able to do it. if you have the Minikit slim or Minikit Chic then your contacts should sync over automatically when you pair your phone to the kit. If you've already paired your phone and the contacts didn't copy over, then you'll need to "unpair" the kit from your phone, and then reset the car kit by holding down the red and green buttons for 3 seconds. let me know how you get on |

Unfortunately not
![]() On that kit, the phone book transfer is a manual process, you have to go into each contact and send each one via bluetooth ( a slow and tedious process) but the iPhone doesn't have the option to send contacts via bluetooth. The only possible way round this, and i've not tried it, would be if you still have your old phone, get your contacts on that one, and send them from that phone to the car kit. I wouldn't have thought that you'd need to pair the kit to your old phone,: Go to the «Receive contacts» menu. • Press the scroll wheel or the green button: the Parrot MINIKIT and the phone discon- nect - the Parrot MINIKIT is now ready to receive contacts. • On your phone, go to the phonebook, select the contact, press Options and send by Bluetooth. • Select Parrot MINIKIT from the list (enter 1234 as the PIN code if prompted by your phone). • Once received, the kit asks you to record the name corresponding to the contact. The voiceprint is assigned to the contact. it might work, it might not, if you try it let me know if it works. If not, how long have you had the Minikit? |

If you got the kit from us and have only had it two days, then yes you can return it under the 30 day returns policy.

I take it that it didnt work using your old phone then?
Was worth a try! to send it back you need to complete the online returns form - it will give you all the details on how to send it back. Which one are you going to go for instead? |
