Apple I ate 5 of these, and lets just say I'm very surprised the doctor recommended it.

Smile iPhone Car Holders

Hiya, its me again, saw the Blog Post The Best iPhone Car Holders which was brilliant and reminded me I could do with a holder for my car just have a question.

What I like is the Brodit Holders:

Brodit Passive Holder

I use a case on my iPhone 3GS and I wondered is there a brodit holder that works with phones with a case on them? I see in the reviews Michael says the universal one allows you to do this and have looked (I'm probably just missing it) if you do this could you give me a link plz

Finally Ill get the clip that works with the Punto I have is there anything else I'm missing? Oh got a car charger already.

Thanks Guys

Mark

Hi Mark,

They do do a holder that can take an iphone in a skin, but as skins vary in size, i'm not sure how well they fit.

They're not something we're planning on ranging at the moment, but we can get them if needed. If you want to have a look at them, this is the link to brodit's site.

i have no life so spend most of my evenings online! lol

I used to have the invisible shield on my iphone (until i left it in the sun on holiday and cooked my iphone and melted the invisibleshield - not clever and certainly don't recommend it!)

the brodit passive holder wouldn't quite take the phone with it on, so I removed the shield from the side where it slots into the cradle. Still protects the back cover, just leaves the side/bezel exposed.

I'm waiting for my replacement invisible shield to arrive, but will probably only fit the front of it.

Got the holder delivered to me today and all I can say is WOW. The delivery time was just incredable. 21 hours from placing the order the items were delivered to my door. I was so impressed I had to tweet it (@marksblog).

The Brodit Holder it's self is very impressive. It's a solid holder and my phone is going nowhere which is great! It took about 15 mins to fit, the instructions were ok but not great as it didn't IMO show the correct place to put the holder in an 05 Punto. Where it showed there was no way it would fit but it did fit perfectly in between the radio and dash and air vents and dash! Anyway it seems brilliant and well worth it's money and I still can't get over the speed of delivery .... Simply amazing! Mobile Fun Team I thank you for making my shopping experiance great. And give Andy a rise he's a brilliant help on the forum!

Mark

P.S wrote this on my iPhone, so sorry for any spelling errors.

No worries Mark,

Thanks for the review. (and the mention!)

Pro Clips aren't always the easiest to figure out, instructions can be a bit vague, but once you've done one, you'll find future ones a lot easier to fit!
