"Customers and chocolate are our number 1 priority"

Can you tell Michael from Customer Services or someone higher up in authority to honour the above "motto"

The facts simply stated are as follows...

A long-time loyal customer (Me) who has recommended others to use MF...

Bought an HTC Hero (White) and Genuine HTC Hero Starter Pack (leather carrying case & 12v adaptor).

After 7-10 days use discovered the inside of the case left marks/stains on the front of the phone.

Filled in the online returns form explaining this, returned it in pristine condition along with everything supplied and asked for the Hero to be replaced with a brown model and a refund for the starter pack.

Got an email from Michael at CS stating there are marks/stains on the phone and it's not in a resaleable condition and asking if I was aware of these marks/stains???

When retold why it was returned replied stating the issue wasn't with the carrying case but the phone and quoting a phone no for HTC who when phoned said they knew nothing about it & referred me (rightly) back to MF...who as the retailer are responsible.

When MF told this emailed me again today saying that someone from HTC will contact me.

Under the sale of goods act the retailer is responsible for replacement or refund...not the manufacturer.

Why doesn't MF in the interests of good customer relations just honour the above motto (and the law) to their customer and fight HTC over the issue?

John.

Hi all,

Placed an order for an LG BL20, the product page was showing it as In Stock, yet when I logged in a bit later to check on the progress of the order, the product page was showing 2-3 days and the order is now delayed.

I've emailed to cancel as wanted it for tomorrow, but was just wondering why this happens (it's happened before too), as it is very annoying plus it has kind of put me off ordering things if you don't know if they are going to change without notice.

Hi All

Don't know if you can help me. Ordered my Nokia 3720 Classic this week and it arrived very peomptly next day (thanks Mobilefun !).

Popped in my Vodafone PAYG sim card and I was up and running immediately.

However . . .

I seem unable to send Multimedia (MMS) messages at the moment. I can send ordinary texts no problem but anything with an image attached results in the classic network failure problem.

If I am sent an MMS I get the message saying I can view it on Vodafone's GetMyPhoto website.

I am on the PAYG Smartplus Vodafone plan and looking at the terms of that I should be able to send pictures (though I have read 2 different sources which suggest there is a maximum message size of either 100kb or 300kb). Accordingly I've tried attaching low-res images of just 64k but still no joy.

I'm assuming now that I must configure a load of settings on the phone in order to enable MMS messages. This is what I currently have:

Messaging>MessageSettings>MultiMedia messages>Image size>640x480
Messaging>MessageSettings>MultiMedia messages>MMS Reception>Auto in home nw
Messaging>MessageSettings>MultiMedia messages>Configuration sett>configuration>Vodafone
Messaging>MessageSettings>MultiMedia messages>Configuration sett>Account>Vodafone MMS

Messaging>MessageSettings>Text messages>Message Centres>VODAFONE
Messaging>MessageSettings>Text messages>Msg Centres In Use>VODAFONE
Messaging>MessageSettings>Text messages>Rep via same centre>No

Is there some other setting I need to do to get MMS messages working?

Many Thanks in advance
