Hi,
Shouldn't be a problem to get it working - follow these steps and give me a shout if you get stuck: from the main menu - messaging -> settings -> email -> email accounts -> add acount still with me? you'll be asked for login details - this is your gmail address and your normal password on the next screen it asks for this again - put in your gmail address again the next screen will ask for the email type you can choose either pop or imap, but you'll need to make sure you've turned these on in the settings page of your gmail account (you'll need to log in through a web browser to do this) personally I'd opt for imap - select imap next it will ask for incoming server details, enter: imap.gmail.com then it will ask for the outgoing server, enter: smtp.gmail.com next it will ask for smtp authentication - this needs to be ON now it will be asking for your smtp username and password, this is your email address and your usual password next you need to give the account a name - "gmail" is a good bet it will then ask you to update the inbox, say yes and it will check for mail and start downloading. if you get an error message of any kind, let me know! Andy |

are you able to access web sites through the browser on the phone?
It's probably caused by either your internet connection settings are wrong, or you've entered part of the server name incorrectly. Probably worth checking both and making sure that they're all set correctly |
