I've had a few customer asking about the car kit installation that we sell on our website. Some people are unsure as to what is included exactly and how it works?
It is the premium installation that most people are interested in, and there is some confusion as to how the postage works - as Installation is a service, can you explain why there is a postage charge? Last edited by andys_mf; 14-01-2009 at 04:48 PM.. |

Hi Jessica,
The premium installation includes wiring your carkit into your car stereo so that your calls are routed through your car stereo speakers. This makes hearing the caller a lot clearer and will also mute any music that you've got playing. Depending on the car kit you're having fitted, the premium installation will also include a damage free bracket that will attach to your dashboard for the installer to attach the phone holder to. By using the bracket it means you don't need to have holes drilled in to your dashboard. If you're having a bluetooth kit fitted though, you won't need the bracket as generally speaking, bluetooth carkits don't have holders for the phone. The reason there is a postage charge is for us to send out the Information pack that explains how your installation works. Once you receive the information pack, you need to call our installation centre who will arrange a time that is convenient for you. Fitting can take place at your home or work address. You will need to hand the engineer a fitting confirmation voucher that you receive from us at the time of fitting. Hope that helps! |
