I've got the same problem - I've just spent some time on the phone to Orange, who said that they did not know what the problem was, but that they were going to get back to me as soon as they knew (hmmmm).
Apparently it's nothing that you or I have done, but is just a 'system error'. I'll let you know as soon as I know what it is and how to sort it! |

Sorry for not replying sooner, have been on hols.
Its not an error message i've ever come accross, This link wil explain more about what a 302 error is, but from reading it, it would suggest that orange, or at least the company that provide the maps application on orange's behalf, have made a change to the web application and thats whats causing the problem. I don't think its something you've done, or that its something you'll be able to fix HTTP Error 302 Moved temporarily Explained |

Ok thanks for the feedback.
I've spent what seems like days on the phone to orange. At first they were telling me that the application is not compatible with the Tocca but I finally managed to persuade them that it is because I had used it previously. I was advised to check i had my cookies enabled. They were enabled. So I'm currently waiting on a call back from them. This will be the third call back i've been waiting on. ![]() |

Nope - i called them again yesterday to be told that my phone isnt compatible hahaha - idiots.
So, after explaining to them - again - that it is compatible, I was informed that they had tried to call me back 3 times (Which I dont believe as i had left them 3 different phone numbers) and because they couldnt contact me the report had been parked. So.....I calmly explained all this to the kindly customer service rep who agreed that it wasnt really good enough and he would raise an urgent service request and have someone call me back within the hour. That was yesterday at 10 am....... ![]() |

I am having the very same problem when I first spoke to them, they told me they could not work out what was causing it and the lady (and this was someone from the data centre) told me to delete the app and then re-install it sounds easy enough apart from you cannot delete apps that come with the phone only one's that you have put on there after you brought the phone, so back to Orange again this time she did actually tell me that on their board (this is on a wall and tells them what the know problems are)it had come up with a problem with Orange maps and basically she could not tell me how long it would take to fix it and that I would just have to keep on trying it to see if it works!!! oh what I didn't tell you was I have had this problem now for 3 weeks

Well mine is finally fixed - although now it says I dont have the proper subscription to use it. The first few days when it was working orignally I didnt need a sub so I dont know what they are playing at, and I dont want to pay more for an app that I thought was free.

Lucky you My is still the same, it is free it is part of the racoon and other animal packages, so don't let them try and rip you off. I am into my fourth week now so hopefully it will be working soon, but I won't hold my breath

Just been on to Orange for what seems an age. I have re-set my phone at their request and followed a lot of instructions to no avail. Eventually I was told that it was a software error caused by the company they employed to create Orange Maps, and that I should await a patch/fix from the Orange web site (or the Sont Ericcson web site as I have a W995). So we are are all snookered until the fix arrives - well worth the money paid for the phone!!!!?????
