Samsung Tocco Ultra Photo/ Screen saver

Hiya Can anhy one help
Does any one know how to change the screen saver that scrolls through pictures of flowers and candles, I want it to be my pictures, but not all of them that are on my phone. Does it have this functionality ??
Also can you change the display colours on it ?

Hi,

I can't get to a phone at the moment to double check, but i'm pretty sure that all the settings for this are in the same kinda place:

Select a wallpaper (Idle mode)
1. In Menu mode, touch Settings → Display and
light → Wallpaper.
2. Scroll left or right to an image.
3. Touch Set.

when you're in the display and light menu, thats where you should see the options for screensavers and colours.

That changes the wallpaper which is good but it was the rolling screen saver that i wanted to change. I want to get rid of the standard samsung pictures, and just put the ones i want to put into it. It seems to display loads of random photos ( and I have some on my phone that i dont want on screen saver !! )

Any advice would be appreciated

Ok, I've looked everywhere on the handset and had all of the products time trying to find the options and we can't see a way to change it.

I've looked through several other forums and it seems that samsung have locked it down so that it's not changeable - hopefully a future software update will fix it

Thanks, how often do these software updates happen and how do non tech people get them on to their phones ?

Normally they're available through the Samsung software that would have been on a disc in the box with your phone or as a download from the samsung website.

I'll keep an eye on the samsung site and post again if they release an update for it.

Any news on updates? I have had the Tocco Ultra for about 6 weeks now. I like the phone a lot. I run Google maps, Opera Mini, Youtube addon and GPS which work great. I store movies on my card, and for travel find the sound (headset), and playback watchable.

I made a solid black bg.jpg put it onto the phone and set it as wallpaper, set settings/display and light/font type to 2, Makes it look a very slick phone.....

.....But that screensaver, well, that just makes my phone not cool!! I have not found a way to set my own media.

I have my phone though Orange and have heard of firmware updates which are mean't to remove the Orange presets, not really sure how to do or what the expected outcomes are supposed to be. Any experiences anyone?
