Default C905 Camera Problem

Never had any problems with this phone before, but last night I was taking some photos and noticed that after clicking the button, instead of showing the review of the pic, the screen went rainbow-coloured from top to bottom.

Now, the photos are definitely there - if I look at the thumbnails, they look fine, and I can even open them to view them, but if I click on "Landscape", I get the rainbow coloured screen.

Also, if I transfer the pics to my PC, again they look fine in thumbnail but when opened they are multicoloured stripes.

Any ideas?

I've just done a software upgrade, but it's still doing it.

I have worked out that it's only doing it when I've got it set to save photos to the Memory card. If it's set to save photos to the phone, it's fine.

I've tried 3 different memory cards and it does it with all of them, so it's not a faulty card.

Any more advice or suggestions would be gladly received!

Thanks.

Sounds like a software issue on your phone. Although it's the latest version on there already, it might be worth re installing the firmware.

Im guessing you've used the Sony Ericsson Update Service before? If not, there's a blog guide that will talk you through it and I'd recommend reflashing the phone using your PC and not over the air.
