Vodafone is offering Olympics updates to its customers free of charge. The operator has teamed up with the BBC have to deliver news from the Olympics on its Vodafone Live! portal.

Vodafone’s customers can access news, updates and video highlights from the games for free. The homepage can also be customized to give users immediate access to the news from Beijing, which are of particular interest to them.

Those with an N95 will be able to download and install the BBC Sports news widget, which enhances the navigation of the service and provides more links to full stories on the BBC website.
